The Imaginary – Of Islands and Other Phantasms

I explore an inner territory between dream and reality, where tapestries, drawings and sculptures become landscapes of imaginary islands, memories and desires. The tapestries originate from a series of 65 colour-pencil drawings based on dreams recorded in my dream book — fragmented visions, birds, houses, bodies and ambiguous signs later transformed into woven images. Each work is a fragment of inner narration, balancing lived experience and dreamed, abstraction and figuration.
